Common Issues Sentinel Manages With The Vault

Client is admitted to the hospital for multiple days

Once our firm is notified either by family or the client, the Vault has instructions of what needs to be handled at the house, financially, and more. For instance if you have pets, we enact the plan to move those pets to boarding or to have caregivers coming to the house.

We have plans that ensure the home is secured, if it might be a long stay, notifying and engaging resources to get the mail, clean out the refrigerator, notify family members, move or secure automobiles or other assets.

We plan for every eventuality, and those we don't plan for, our staff makes decisions and implements those plans in the best way we can knowing how you are likely to want them handled.

Client (widow/widower) needs to replace the roof of the home, install generator, etc.

Before their spouse passed away, this kind of project would have been managed by that spouse, but now the client is faced with a project they have never managed before. Our team and leadership helps the client meet with vendors, choose a solution, and assists with monitoring that work.

The Sentinel team makes sure the client is not taken advantage of, misses permits or insurance requirements of the vendor, or pays for shoddy/incomplete work.

Our goal is to help replace the management and leadership the client was used to before their spouse passed. This provides peace of mind for children who do not live where mom or dad does. The family is assured that their parent has resources and "family-like" advisors ensuring their parents are not taken advantage of or having to "go it alone".

Both parents have now passed, children need to take possession of assets.

This is a situation every child will eventually face. Sentinel helps smooth and simplify this process by showing the children what the parents intent is for their possessions and Sentinel can help facilitate the tasks.

Investments, Real Estate, Autos, Boats, Furniture, Artwork and the list goes on. All of these assets need to either change possession, be donated or sold, and the Vault has instructions from the parents of what to do and what they wanted to see happen to those assets.

The Sentinel team partners with the decendents and family to provide best practices and planning for how to not only execute the wishes of their parents but how best preserve the value and the legacy that their family intended.
